People say it is good to have dreams and if one works hard enough, they can reach these dreams. Two and a half years ago Mandy's dream came about with the arrival of a horse trailer from Arizona. Off this trailer stepped the very thing young girl's dreams are often made of - a shining dark horse with the presence of a stallion yet the gentleness of a kitten. The picture above captured the horse and his presence which in turn captured Mandy's heart. This is Imperial Major stepping off the trailer in 2001 after a long trip East. The generosity of Bob & Stella White's gift gave Mandy's dream wings. Thank you Bob & Stella!

In 2001, Mandy & Major started out on a journey together to learn to communicate and work as one. Through reccomendation of our Veternarian, we brought this young team to Sheila McLevedge of Springfield, VT. Sheila's background in Classical Dressage and past experience with many different breeds worked to their advantage. With Sheila's guidance, the dream began to take shape. Thank you Sheila for your time and effort. You had a huge part in creating this team and we hope you will continue to help Mandy & Major progress thru the levels in the years to come.

The year 2003 saw Mandy's dream fufilled. Major was ready to compete at the Morgan Breed shows in the dressage division. A kid with her backyard Morgan with determination and hard work to back them up - and work they did! The entries and fees to enter these shows were earned by doing chores. The right to compete was earned by hard work and practice, practice, practice! The work and practice paid off, Mandy & Major earned their spot at the Morgan Grand National in October 2003. At this time Mandy & I would like to list the people who have been so supportive of Mandy's efforts and have ultimately helped her achieve her goal of coming home the World Champion Training Level Dressage Jr. Exhibitor from the Morgan Grand National 2003! Our most sincere thanks to all of you. Your generosity and caring will never be forgotten!
